The History of Easy Company
Easy Company occupied Berch test garden and ascended to the mounting summit of Kielstein. Easy Company could finally relax amidst the opulent building and breathtaking landscape that was previously the luxury of Hitler himself. By early 1946 much of the company had returned to America with their 101st Airborne now decommissioned and Easy Company disbanded. Colonel Cinck continued to serve in the American Army after returning to the United States after the Second World War. In 1970 Herbert Sobel attempted suicide by gunshot but amazingly survived. The attempt did leave him blind and he would stay alive until 1987 when he died of severe malnutrition at the age of 75.
