The Story of Bob Ewing's Fake Death

There was a real life Bob Ewing who lived in Texas and who owned an oil and cattle company. And so when this big sort of who shot JR thing was happening, they really kind of cashed in on it. But then the real Bob Ewing sued them and said, well, you can't do this because it makes it look like you're selling my company. He wasn't allowed to sell any novelty items. It didn't say, but I assume he got a massive, you know, payout. Yeah. They literally were like, forget that series happened. You would think it would be easier to say, oh, he didn't die, he faked his own death.
