The Future of Isolation
I think there's a lot of isolation technologies like Bromium that isolate processes and or all their solutions. Maybe we can go back to those days of separating things, but I personally think it's a Pandora's box and that ship is sailed. The data gets tricky, because if you need to download something from the internet and then transfer that to somewhere else, it's just a lot of issues with that. If we could have solved the security problem with isolation and network rules, like we very much tried in the 90s and early 2000s, that we would have continued down that path.
