The Importance of Half-Pipe for Snowboarding

Snowboarders world wide are drawn to this French pro’s unique ability to turn inbound mundane terrain into video part worthy A-grade snowboarding that is going down on the same very run’s everyone has access to but he does it real big with his rad style that is a blend of child like curiosity and skilled artist. This week we talk growing up in France, shred mechanics, the Devil’s Ditch, Olympics, ciggy’s, cosy rock, mountain life, shroom hunting, sharts, The Deceleration Of Shred, She, flow state, The CoBrA group and so much more. While some pro’s are traveling to snowy cities to hit handrails and other’s to far off exotic locations that the snowboarding consumer will never make it to not to mention never do the same type of riding that the marketing departments are using to help show off their new products in come’s Arthur Longo. After riding in competitions of all level’s all the way up to the Olympics and just not feeling like this was he right path for him Arthur decided it was time to do snowboarding how he wanted and how he saw it. Join us as we sit down with Arthur and hear first hand how he went from a young half pipe competitor all the way to become a two time Olympian only to decide this was not his vision of snowboarding so he turned his back on the contest scene to ride the resorts his own way and this move took him to a new level in his pro career putting him in the upper echelon of professional snowboarding who now has filmed amazing video part’s, landed cover shots in magazines, brought him new sponsors, endorsement deals, books, his own movie projects and we talk about it all on this weeks episode of The Bomb Hole!!!
