"It means so much to me to be to have this conversation and try to get to a little bit more of understanding what it really means, and what it could mean for changing society," she says. "I spend a lot of time talking to people and basically getting groups of the right people from different disciplines to get together and articulate a question." She adds that funding her research is going to be slow going because there's not a lot of sources of support in academic circles. The hardest thing about your job? Where do you instart? How do you set up those values wherever i go?
