The Vietnam-China Relationship
Vietnam is the most significant nation in Southeast Asia, aside from potentially Chinese majority Singapore. It's crushed right up against China's southern border. And of course, you know, history has seen a slow southern expansion of China or what we today call China. This has left a very strong mark on Vietnamese national identity and that's reflected in public attitudes toward China.
