The Effect of Knowledge on Learning

As knowledge progresses, there is both more that's known and a higher level of abstraction about the knowledge that's already there. So it's possible to kind of learn once, learn one principle to cover a large number of what would have been treated as individual facts. We really see that effect because we see these principles that seem to apply across physics to metamathmatics and probably other areas. And then someday in the future, when people name something more than just modern physics, there'll be this aggregated thing where you learn once the principles of multi computation and concepts like the methods.
