The Importance of Synthetic Data in Machine Learning

In some cases, there isn't much data anyway. In fact, one of the very effective ways to get the data you want is with data augmentation or synthetic data generation. Instead of generating data once, using maybe a computer graphics simulation, and then you're training a model, what I'm seeing is more and more teams are training AI models by incorporating the tuning of the computer graphics system. And now is it iterative generating better and better images.
