The Election Commission on Friday recognized the faction led by Maharashtra Chief Minister Ekne Chinde as the real Chief Senna. The Supreme Court has refused to stay the EC's order. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court upheld a Madras High Court order from September that allowed AIADMK leader Edda Padikai Palanaswami to continue as the interim General Secretary of the outfit.
