Texas vs. Texas Abortion Providers

Abortion is illegal in both Texas and Mississippi, but the laws are very different. In mississippi, abortion providers could sue a state official if they were found to have performed an abortions after a certain point. The texas law says no state official can bring a lawsuit against the abortion provider; only private citizens can. So that made it hard forabortion providers to pick who they would actually sue. And we saw that case go to the supreme court, which refused to stop the texas law from going into effect.
