John called to apologize for a comment he'd made about Addy. He said that the real world didn't work like in books and movies. Not everything you did mattered, not every conversation it was remembered by the rest of the cast. Most bad deeds went unpunished. But John had wanted to be wronged back. The steps now gave him an excuse to force one on us again.
