Is This a High Grade Epithelial Angiosarcoma?

The patient agreed to the best step moving forward to both diagnose and treat this mass would be to proceed with full surgical resection. She ultimately underwent complete surgical resection with cardiac surgery. Intraoperatively, they found that the mass arose from her inferior vena cava, spread to the pericardium, and was invading part of the right atrium wall. The pathology resulted showing malignant vascular neoplasm felt to be most likely a high grade epithelial angiosarcoma.
