The Importance of Outstanding Players in Brazil

The margins in soccer obviously are smaller. The best team doesn't always win the men's World Cup. It's just not how it works with the single elimination knockout stage. I don't think you can always count on finding a generational player every two or three years. And where it probably gets a little bit more difficult is the amount of effort and time and intelligence that goes into soccer everywhere else.
