The Social Impacts of Language Technology
I would say the strand that has gone through the kind of interaction of technology in society. My very early work has been looking at the impact of social media on politics, social media and social movements. And then since early 2017, late 2016, I've been working on the societal impacts of language technology. So there are societal impacts, negative societal impacts of saying that these are everything machines can think.
