"I think probably 90%, maybe even 95% are things that I don't even notice," he says. "Then there's a 3% where you might notice something and it'll be like, are you throwing away my stuff? And it's tough because I think some of those clutter reductions were necessary ... But yeah, I don't know."

It turns out they're not alone in this feeling of overwhelm and is shared by many others who used to be nomads. The need for *things* is universal, but so is the slippery slope to acquiring too many.
