Tudge is overjoyed when he finds out, on being appointed to the ministry, that the vast majority of that $10 billion figure could be found in his department. The coalition announced the acceleration of Robert at in the July 2016 election campaign just a week before the polls. They were returned to power with a wafer-thin majority. By the time Rachael Miller joins Tudge's office, just a month after the 2016 election, the department says it is ready to pull the trigger on the full-scale monstrosity with zero human oversight.
