Is There a Distinction of Views?

Sometimes dissenting views, possibly considered extreme views, can be the things stimulates us to think clearly about what really matters to us. There's a danger that we could lose some of those if we're too civil. In my view, being exposed to strong, good arguments that make you think is useful. So i'm not sure we need all the bots and trolls on line to have the market place of ideas whose are the right ones.
