The Supreme Court's Challenge to Chevron

The court has not upheld a case on the basis of the Chevron doctrine for over six years. Lower courts, however, have continuously applied Chevron. In this case, there's a very narrow question about whether hearing-fishing industry should pay for agency observers. The idea would be to whittle down the number of circumstances in which agency interpretations would be deferred to.
