How Do You Come Up With Algorithms That Actually Work?

In real time, like as if something were hooked up to a wakon tablet. As i draw those curves, those curves get fed into the algarithm as input. Something else gets drawin, depending on what the obarithm is. The process for me is very exploratory. I don't usually have a super clear idea up front of exactly what i wanted do. And once i find that sort of special element to the work, then i swish into a modeof polishing and refining it instead.
