The Importance of Foreshadowing

Being a writer is very much like being a magician. We get to perfect the trick. Anytime I have an idea that I think would be good for a plot twist, I keep it. And then anytime I'm starting a new book, I'm throwing out events and having lots of characters do lots of things. It's kind of sloppy and scattershot but it's a comic strip. And people, I don't think they notice.
