Vertical Integration: A New Approach to AI Development
Amitai Etzioni: People have been trying to address this big translational gap in a while now. The headline really for vertical integration is that it's broadly recognizing that AI is an entire world that exists outside of this model that you've built. He says any model is dependent on firstly the supply of data, where that data actually exists and can flow to the model in the real world. And thirdly, what is the tangible added value of your model in thereal world, not paper accuracy.
