Revolutions
The Second Wave of Revolutionary Civil War
The Haitian Revolution radicalized as emancipation went from unthinkable to fact of life, but this just occurred inside a five-sided messy conflict. The American Revolution had radicals and moderates, but it's not like John Adams ever staged an armed coup to win the debate over independence.
