The Science of a Good Cry
An article in the washington post from april 20, sixteenth by mery kim called the science of a good cry. The theory rings just whithout experience of when crying happens and how it happens. It would be kind of similar to the two stage theory of laughter which posits that maybe laughter functions when tension is first raised by the set up of a joke and then suddenly lowered as punch lines are delivered. Under this theory,maybe rying works in a similar fashion.
