The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Search for Phil Washington

Philip Washington was previously the head of LA Metro. There's an investigation concerning a whistleblower that he allegedly retaliated against and a nonprofit that got what's alleged to be a sweetheart deal in order to ingratiate Washington with a really powerful Metro board member. The California Attorney General has taken over the public corruption investigation, which is not some partisan witch hunt; they're actively investigating this right now.
