The Difference Between Zone One and Zone Two

zone one is less than 75% of heart rate max if we're talking about running or heart rate peak, if it's perhaps one of the other modalities zone two. The difference between those two between 220 and 250 is that at 220 watts, my heart rate will stay flat for quite a long time. But as soon as I get around 240, 250, that's threshold work for me. And then clean will tend to be a bit lower. So this is another one of those key, you know, you can see is if you are really in zone one, you should be able to see that from about 15 minutes in.
