When I was young, I heard a story about these two Marines that were roommates and one of them took mushrooms. And the guy was tripping on mushrooms, killed his roommate, cut his heart out and cooked his heart in the oven and ate it. So like I've always been super scared of diving into that world. But all of that stuff, DMT seems to kind of transcend set and setting,. It has no relationship to normal human experience. There's basically nothing you can do to prepare for it, in my opinion.
