What's the Difference Between the RICO Statute and the Federal Racketeering Act?

A majority of states have rico statutes in their state laws now. But there are some places where the georgia statute is a friendlier to a prosecutor trying to organize a case than the federal statute. Georgia has, know, according to the sup court, has no particular time limit imposed. So even if a period of november 20 20 through january 20 21 was considered not long enough under a federal investigation, in georgia it is there. There's no time issue. And on top of that, the pattern under both statutes has to be two or more rackturing acts committed in the time period.
