How Do Animals Make Sounds?
The sound is coming from their mouth, yes, ok. But i would assume that the animals down at the bottom of the sea make all kinds of sounds in all different kinds of ways. What other sounds do animals make, and how do they make them? So with whales, for example, and dolphins, they have special organs behind what you call the melon of their head. And they have this organ that use pressurized air, and they make lik noises. Then there are fishes, which have specialized soniferous muscles, and they use those muscles to make sound pretty much as humans talk.
