Are There Any Use Cases for Proximity?

I'd like to talk about voice interfacing, cause gogle does this amazing thing. So have a voice inter face. Could you talk about that in terms of location? Because it seems to me that we, instead of thinking about precise location, we come back to the idea of thinking about proximity to things. This is relative to me.
