Freud's Death Drive

The essay comes out in 1919, almost 20 years after the interpretation of dreams. Freud first introduces the very controversial and vexed notion of the death drive that he sees in soldiers coming back from the war who are repeating all these things that again are not pleasurable. He takes like every single piece of writing advice that you would give to anyone and then do the opposite and make it work.
