The Difference Between Love and Limerants

Love is about encouraging the spiritual growth of yourself or another person. Many parents use their relationship with their children as a means of control and in which case they're not interested in their own independent growth. I don't believe that you can be in love with somebody who treats you like shit. And what Bell Hooks says is that love is not a feeling it's a choice.
