Tom's Precarious Position in the Family Chaos

Matthew McFadgen's Tom is the character I was almost the most fascinated by in this episode. The trajectory of this character over the last two seasons from kind of the Rosen Krantz and Guildenstern, like background player who's there to eat the ordellan has been remarkable. He seems very aware that his only usefulness to Logan is as a bridge to Shiv. And so Tom's incredibly precarious position is consistent and makes sense that he would then just leak a little bit on both sides in the attempt to just stay afloat no matter what occurs. That scene with him and Logan is my favorite of the episode.
