Investment fraudsters are netting average of 575 bucks per scam. Government impostors, i assume those are the folks calling me th with information about my social security benefit, are only netting forty dollars. 20 18, 11 % of scams that used crypto as a payment method started on social media. More recently, that number has jumped up to nearly 50%. So scammers operating in the crypto spase are leaning heavily on social media, and it's working.
