Why London Shouldn't Be Pity One Part of the Country
I've always said it's not a zero-sum game. We have invested in our city to improve infrastructure. That should not be seen as at the expense of other parts of the country. I'm afraid some of our tribe have fallen into their trap and allowed ourselves to be perceived fairly unfairly as pity one part of the country against another. And what was wonderful about Rachel Reed's speech today fantastic? It was an amazing, amazing speech. Only one of them looks like a chance.
