The Unsettling Power of Pragmatism
I love the nuance and the complexity of that situation. I don't know, that's a much better story than just the black and white, kill the tyrant kind of thing. And to see or at least hear about Bonhoeffer wrestling with that, especially in the light of someone like Adolf Hitler and the mass genocide he was trying to carry out. It's really interesting that it's unsettling, I think in a good way.
