The Bank of England Set Interest Rates - Is That Right?

She knows that they messed up the handling of the political announcement. She doesn't think that the policy is wrong. Quite clear that she thinks her approach and, you know, not involving other people in the party, not talking to the cabinet about one of the controversial things. But very interesting that she did to see. It was the chancellor's policy. And also you can just see the communications issue here because she quite rightly said, interest rates are set by the Bank of England. And independently, the Prime Minister doesn't decide. That's also true. The point is that they don't do it in isolation. There's a difference between independence and isolation.
