The Only Possible Source of Error in Philosophy
Popper was swimming amongst other philosophers who were very focused on linguistic analysis and have ever since. This is the Wittgensteinian school of a form of logical positivism that reduced all problems in philosophy to simply puzzles of language. So he's saying, well, you know, language is pristine, it can perfectly well capture what we mean by our statements in reality. The only possible source of error is in us misinterpreting what the language is actually about.
