The Destroying Power of YouTube
I think that there isn't a narrative in which YouTube is really understood or even defined in the way that it should be in terms of its influence. And then I think we have all of these extremely destructive counter narratives going on, like it's the algorithm or sort of reformateness kind of paranoia and everything's out to kill us. It makes me crazy how counterproductive almost all the writing and talking is around technology for making communities better. The solutions are almost all always the opposite of what we need to be doing.
