Gordano Bruno - A History of Memory
In 15 81, bruno moved on to paris after escalading tensions between huguenots and catholics in toulouse made that city too dangerous to stay in. Bruno had fallen in with the politique, thats the faction in the religious wars that was catholic, but moderate. He wanted compromise in religious matters as a means unity for france instead of any single religion as dominant and ruling. While in paris, bruno wrote and published a great deal. His works were rooted in his study and fascination with memory.
