NASA studied the carasquars when they were considering putting humans in space. They caught their bodies with oil and would take blubber from a seal to keep warm. Some of the castaways mistreat them, thinking their civilization must be superior. And we don't get to see it, because we don't have a recording from theCarasquars point of view. But we can see it from the, at least in the journals of the castaway.
