Is There Any Morality in This Idea of Self Preservation?

You can never be secure unless you are completely dominating everything around you. The idea of self preservation is, in a way, its own fundamental moral commandment. And the idea is that outside of society, that commandment sort of runs a muck and yet it still has its fundamental moral force.
