The road itself is a big part of the town, but does it shape the life of the town in a big way? Or does it feel like the town is here and the road comes to the town? It's not too bad some days. Some days is really bad. What makes it bad? Drivers. Road work ahead and slow signs. They can speed up apparently.
We have as many roads in the United States as we have streams and rivers.
