Is Venley in a Super Powerful Position With Odium?

She goes to the former parshmen, which they don't really have a name for them. And she tells this carefully crafted story that she has memorized. So she is a means of propaganda for odxactly. What i find most interesting about this role is that venley does not appear to be in a super powerful position with odium. It seems like odium doubts her, or at least recognizes that she has her own doubts.
