The Problem With Utility Projections on Energy Transition

Utilities often project that they're going to take some sort of vague action on energy transition, predicated on technologies that are not yet commercial. There's a wave right now where I would say small modular nuclear reactors are in vogue for utilities to talk about how they'll achieve their goals. They're highly reliant on those to sort of square the circle around their carbon goals.
