Is There a World Outside of Your Mind?
Claim that science is the only reliable way to secure knowledge of anything is not itself a scientific claim, nor something that can be established using scientific methods. A ser faser fezer says that science is even a a rational form of inquiry is not something to be establishedscientifically. For scientific inquiry rests on a number of philosophical assumptions. The assumption that there is an objective world external to the minds of scientists. That this world is governed by regularities of the sort that might be captured in scientific laws. And so forth.
