Euston: I'm surprised many people say that wolves, for example, will not respond if you physically, if you physically point. But octopuses have been able to figure out if you're pointing your finger, they know to follow that to the thing that you're pointing at. This is different from other birds, like cockatoos and cockatils. They often do like to be touched. Not a hawk. Hum everything that works with other animals doesn't work with a hawk. You are totally sum ting to their rules. And in this way, this roothless, lethal hunter expanded my capacity for compassion.
