How Does Ordinary Language Fit in Philosophy?
Hira: If we take the core question or aim to be, let's see how philosophical problems can be a case of confusion, then I think it has succeeded because it has been helpful in making us kind of see that and work on that. But with Carnap and logical positivism, you have the idea that for language to be meaningful at all, you must either have propositions that are unverifiable empirically or logical propositions. So if that was the aim, I think to some extent it failed and it couldn't but fail. The jury is still out on some of the questions in any case. Thank you very much.
