Brill: What kind of shoes does your character wear? Tells me what's important to them and who they are as a character. "That really tells me a lot of what I would need to know about a character, like who would mourn them," he says. If you're trying to figure out how to picture your character where to start building them in the first place, these questions can be very helpful.
