The Effects of Trauma on the Nervous System

We're all different. Some of our personality and temperament traits make certain folks a little more sensitive to certain stimuli. As an adult, I have a lot of resources at my disposal to access when I feel threat. Not everybody is well resourced as others. And so they don't have the ability to access those like other people might.
