Adam Brazil, You're Free to Go?
The state of Tennessee conceded the murder conviction and murder charge against Adam Brazil. They also dismissed one of the assault charges against Mr. Brazil. However, they asked Mr. Brazil to plead to an Alfred plea, which is the best interest plea,. In exchange for that, Mr. Brazil would be released from prison that day. By taking the Alfred plea, he acknowledged there was potentially enough evidence to convict him on a lesser charge of aggravated assault.
